Imagine that your mind is a box and it is protected by a bigger box that is actually represented by your head.
When I say protected - I mean just that. Nothing, absolutely nothing can get into the inner box unless it is filtered and accepted by the outside box. Everything that gets to the inner box passes through the outer box.
The inner box is connected to the outer box by 5 methods of communication. These are the 5 senses:
To touch;
To taste;
To See;
To Smell;
And to hear.
This is how it happens. The eyes see an object and then it sends information to the inner box and the inner box says “based on the information you just sent me against the information I have in my data banks I think this is a…cat.”
The nose then sends the inner box more information and the inner box says based on the previous information and the new information compared with my database I know think this is a … cat.”
The ears then send the inner box information and the inner box says “based on the two previous receipts of information and the new information you just sent me compared with the data I already have I really think that this is a…cat.”
And so on for all 5 senses information.
And more than likely, the inner box will be correct. It probably is a cat.
But what if the information we send the inner box is not correct? What happens then? Well then the inner box makes a guess based on the next best thing or simply says “I have absolutely no idea what that is.”
Have you ever experienced that, when you look at something and you have no idea what it is? Do you remember the Magic Eye 3D dot pictures? When you first look at them all you can see is a mass of what appears to be jumbled up no meaning colorful dots. Then, when you are told how to look at it correctly, you can see the hidden 3D image. The image hasn’t changed, but what has changed is the way you look at it.
What if the way we look at everything in life is wrong? Then the information we send to the little inner box will be wrong. The inner box will then tell the outer box to do things based on misinformation.
Is this why life is so complicated all the time? Are we looking at everything through 2D eyes?
It is time to open our vision and look at life differently. We can only do this through self development and endeavoring to see correctly.
Success comes from within, but it is also based on what it understands to be true. What we feed the inner box is very important. Be careful of what you see, what you hear, what you touch, what you taste and what you smell as you may just be sending false information to the inner box.
It is all a circle and it just goes round and round.

Faith is the 2nd step to success after desire. Not only must a person desire the object of his definite aim, but it must be believed that it is possible to obtain.
There would be little point to someone starting what they didn’t believe they could get - and thereby lies a major key to the answer why there are so many people who do not reach success.
I believe that everyone wants to be rich, but very few people believe it is possible and this is the major difference between successful and unsuccessful people.
I do not know if it is true, but I heard the story that when Donald Trump came out of his building after being declared bankrupt, there was a down-and-out asking for money. It was reported that Mr. Trump took a look at the man’s hands and saw a few coins in his hands and make the remark that he actually had more than Mr. Trump.
The big difference between the two men was that Mr. Trump believed he would get back on his feet and the down-and-out didn’t.
And so only Mr. Trump tried - and we know the rest of the story.
The blessing that comes with faith is freedom from fear. If you know without doubt that you will succeed then the fear vanishes! If you believe in yourself there is no fear of what will be because you know what will be with absolute conviction - Success is waiting why should you fear.
The same can be said for our Creator. If Higher-Power is so incredibly powerful to create all that exists in the Universe including little us, surely he knows and can help us. If we truly believe in God, why do we fear?
Dare I suggest that we have fear because as much as we would like to think we do, we really do not believe in God the way we say we do. How can we trust God to look after us when we don’t trust our own intuition? Our intuition comes from our subconscious which is our direct link to the superconscious power. If we don’t trust our superconscious connect then we are in fact doubting God’s power to aid us.
So how do we attain unshakable faith?
It starts with acknowledging the amazing things that you have already done in life. It starts with acknowledging the amazing things that you know that God has done in his life. Then conbine the two and realize that there is a partnership more powerful than any force we previously knew.
Now when someone asks me who is my business partner I tell them God is! It didn’t get me a loan at the bank, but it did get me credit in heaven.
I know which one I would rather have.

In Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill he talks about Desire being the first step to all riches. This is a statement that I completely agree with. You have to want it to get it.
But what is desire exactly and how do we get to a state of desire?
The dictionary defines desire as a state of mind that passionately wants something linked with definite aim and intention.
Wanting something is not the same as desiring something. The world lives in a state of want. Everyone wants to be happy. Everyone wants to be rich, but wanting is not enough. The wanting must be linked to desire and when desire is put into the equation desire is the compelling force that moves man to actually start to get what we want.
Desire cannot be held. It is not a tangible thing. It is a sensation. It is a feeling. Desire is not wanting an object, but rather wanting the feeling you experience when you actually get your object of desire.
This is why after getting what you want, within a short period of time you want something else or something greater. The feeling we get is soon forgotten and we need a new high. Desire is actually a state of ignorance. We think that we will feel a certain way when we get the object of desire and so we chase it hoping that we will actually get the expected feeling, but often when we actually get the object of our desire, the feeling we get is not up to our expectations and so off we go in further chase of the feeling or a new desire.
We will actually spend all our lives wanting more. It is man’s intrinsic instinct to want more and to improve his status in life. For some it becomes a life long obsession and they never ever reach their utopia.
When we realize that we will never reach the place we chase and accept that to be a true state, we can go to a different place in our life and that is to a place of satisfaction. Satisfaction is a state where we say; “This is my life and I am satisfied” however there is nothing wrong in desiring to improve ones lot in life, but maybe it is time we experience peace of mind with being satisfied with what we have and reduce the amount of chasing we do.
It certainly sounds less tiring!
Reaching a plateau of peace of mind is a wonderful state to be in. This is where I am and I am happy with it. Yes I can spend some time improving it, but I am happy with my choice of wife / work / car / house / or whatever it is you crave.
The success is within you not in the objects we desire. The objects we desire will only give us temporary relief in happiness and they are very superficial in our lives. Yes certain elements can give us a better quality in life, but there is nothing quite like getting a hug from your son regardless of how much money you have.
Success comes from focusing on the really important empowering things in our lives not in the material possessions that drive us crazy as we spend our lives chasing them.

At the end of the day, as you sit down and reflect over the day, do you have any moments that make you feel proud? These moments can be small moments, by which I mean that you don’t need to anything really big.
As I walk to work each day, (it is a 20 minute walk) I say hello to the security guards in the condos, then there is the woman in the small store on the street side selling rice and the 3 ladies that collect the money from the people parking their cars and even the local drunk.
Last week the security guard in McDonalds said to me “Sir, thank you for saying hello to me every time you come in here. Most people don’t even know I exist. I just want to say thank you for letting me know that I do.”
What have you done today to make yourself feel proud?
Today I request that you step out of the ordinary and do something that you don’t normally do. It doesn’t mind if it is big or small. Just do something that makes your soul ascend.
Once you do this you will elevate who you are. You may have many answers that you don’t have, but to question is how you grow. You can be so much to so many if only you let your spirit rise and bring about a change in this world.
The world needs to hear you. Make that quest for freedom. Holding back is a reflection of your fears. It is time to step through your fears. It’s never too late to try.
The world is so amazing a place with so much to be done, do we really want to spend our life working all day instead of enjoying it.
What have you done today to make you feel proud? How about making the decision to make a small change in your life?
Do it today. One small step. One thing different. And as you sit and reflect on your day…now how do you feel?

There are two states in life - desperation and motivation. Every-one operates from one of these two states. Most people operate from desperation.
They go to work because they need the money;
They go to church because they need confession;
They vote for a candidate because there is no one better;
They get married because they get pregnant;
They stay in the slums because they can’t afford to move house;
They never invest because they don’t have enough spare money;
They never buy what they want because they have to pay the bills;
Does any of this sound familiar to you?
Wouldn’t it be nice if you could just do what you wanted to do? Well actually you can. You don’t have to go to work everyday to get your salary. If you took the time to plan it correctly and set some new plans into place, you could in time leave your job. The only thing that stops you doing that is that you simply don’t take the time to set up the new plans.
There are two things you can do every day. There is what you must do and then there is what you actually do.
Have you ever written a “to-do” list? A “to-do” list generally goes something like this:
1) Take kids to school;
2) Pay electricity bill
3) Go to work
4) Rush home in traffic
5) Wash kids clothes
6) Do ironing
7) Watch TV
And lastly go to sleep exhausted at 11pm
This is a “must-do” list
1) Lovingly spend an hour with my kids and let them know I love them over breakfast
2) Check that my assistant has everything she needs to pay all the bills. Let her know how much I appreciate her helping me. Buy her a small gift.
3) Spend time calling and chatting to some of my best clients to let them know about my new idea. Ask them what they think.
4) Take client to lunch and say thanks to them.
5) See how I can help my clients get their goals and find a way to merge my product with what they are trying to do.
6) Arrive home and spend more time with my family. The wonderful assistant has done all the bills and the washing and ironing. Should have bought her a bigger gift.
7) Watch TV together.
And lastly go to sleep satisfied with life!
Wow! What a difference between the two? Now the second way won’t happen by accident. It will take time and planning, but it is possible.
Stop focusing on your “to-do” list and focus on what I actually call your “empowering moments.” To know what your empowering moments are, you actually need to write them down. Why don’t you do that now!
The success is within you. Stop hiding it!

How many thoughts do you think in a day? I don’t know how many
it is, but I know it’s a lot. Now look around you. Look at everything
that you see that is man-made and all of it started as a thought.
Somebody not too unlike you just though of it. Lots of thoughts in
his head and then just one extra special thought and WHAM! They
came up with something very special.
Sometimes you don’t even know. Let me tell you a story. Once upon
a time in 1991 there was a young man, not too well educated, but
very eager to learn. He was in a meeting just near Hammersmith
in London one afternoon. It was a sunny day. He was actually at the
meeting to get information for somebody else. During the meeting
it was mentioned by the company that they were struggling to get
their staff to go to a project in Spain because it was a year long
project and they all had houses and wives and other commitments.
The young man said “I will go!” They asked him, what he knew about
their product. He replied in truth, “almost nothing, but you can teach
me. We have 6 months.”
In 1992 The young man was in Spain as part of the 1992 Expo lake
show at one of the biggest shows ever to have taken place in the
world.
After that he traveled the world extensively going from Argentina
to The Middle East until in 1996 he ended up for two years in Brunei.
And all because he said “I will go”
In 1998 the young man traveled to Manila to organize the Philippine
Centennial celebrations and was also given the honor of presenting
the show “Faces of The Philippines” a show to welcome the new
Millennium.
Just think this guy, left school at 16 and no more formal education after
that.
He stayed in The Philippines for the next 10 years and set up 3 or 4
different million peso companies and is still there today.
How do I know this story? Because I was the young man. When I said
“I will go” people told me I was stupid. But my life has been blessed
with so much opportunity all because I said “I will go”
All it takes is one good idea. You never know where that idea will
take you.

Who Am I Trying To Get Out?
You probably don’t remember your first success. You were probably too small. Remember it or not, you did it with great excitement and massive amounts of energy and competition was huge, but you were successful otherwise you would not be here.
Your first success was when you got the egg!
The odds were millions to one, but for some reason you were the strongest swimmer and despite all the odds you got the prize.
And now many years later, sometimes the odds seemed stacked against you, but never in all your life will the odds ever be higher against you than that moment of your creation. Never again will you have to battle against so many for so little.
So why do we make life so hard for ourselves? If success is our birthright, shouldn’t it be easy?
Maybe it is, but we just don’t know.
I remember the story of the businessman who saw an old fisherman sitting on his boat smoking. He said to “Goodness what are you doing my good fellow?”
“I am smoking” said the fisherman.
“Why are you wasting time when you could be working?” the businessman said.
“Why would I want to work more?” said the fisherman.
“Well then you could have 2 boats!” replied the businessman.
“And then what?” the fisherman quizzed.
“Then with your profits, you could buy a fleet of boats and be really rich!” said the businessman looking all smug.
“And then what? said the fisherman.
“My good man” said the businessman, “Then you could retire rich and sit around all day smoking!”
“Isn’t that what I am doing now?” said the fisherman with a smile.
A thought is the only non-tangible element in the world that can be transformed into a tangible object. Indeed everything you have in your lives is as a result of your past thoughts manifesting now in actual objects. Your thoughts have played a direct role in the results that you have in your life even if you don’t realize it. Your thoughts are part of you.
People who don’t like their lives actually don’t like what they themselves have actually manifested. Your manifestations say a lot about what kind of person you really are, so if you don’t like what you manifest, can I suggest that you don’t like the person you have become.
This is a form of self abuse. No wonder we feel unhappy.
So what would you like to manifest in your life? How would you like your life to be? Who are you trying to get out?
Do you know that some people do not know what they want their life to look like? I was giving a talk yesterday to a group of college students yesterday. I asked them what they wanted to be when they left school. Most of them didn’t know. they just wanted to get a job. I thought to myself, wouldn’t it be better if we taught our kids to decide what they wanted to be before they go to school so that they can study in alignment with what they want? Wouldn’t that make it more enjoyable?
If you haven’t already done so I suggest you take out a piece of paper and draw or write a picture of how you want your life to look.
Who are you trying to get out?

“As I was on my way to Saint Ives I met a man with seven wives” so proclaims the famous nursery song. “Every wife had seven kids and…
Wait…wait…wait for me!” shouted the man.
“Please wait for me. Let me come with you. My life is hell and I am completely broke. I have seven wives to feed and all those kids they drive me insane. I got dogs, cats, mice…I can’t take any more. I’m begging you, please let me come with you!”
Poor man! Can you imagine his life? But you know he chose it!
Success is a lifestyle. Many people go to work and are really successful managers or company directors, but their home lives are completely insane; broken marriages, out of control debts, lonely and sad.
Success is a Lifestyle. You cannot be successful Monday to Friday 9 to 5 and then go home and be a complete failure and expect to get good results.
You have to be successful in all areas. This means:
Make successful decisions
Marry successful people
Have successful friends
Engage in successful business ventures
Think successful thoughts
Do successful things
Act success
Talk success
Emulate successful people (at least their good sides).
I once heard the following and thought it was so very wonderful:
A good parent gives their children good memories
A good husband gives their wife good memories
A good business man gives his customers good memories
A good friend gives his friends good memories.
A good customer gives his supplier good memories
Isn’t success giving your self good memories?

The Success Inside You
The Success Inside You is an incredible force waiting to be released. Most people never ever fully comprehend the power that is bottled up inside of them waiting to explode out and to manifest their skills and talents out to the Universe.
After about the age of 18 you are responsible for virtually all the decisions in your life. Up until that time your parents make most of the decisions, so if you are not particularly successful maybe you can be forgiven somewhat. But after becoming an adult, you are responsible for your own life. You decide if The Success Inside You is used correctly or is just hidden away for no-one to find.
Recently, a Nobel peace price winner stated that all poverty, all problems from international to domestic or even home based are as a result of decisions. Governments decide to go to war; governments decide not to distribute food and medicines to the poor. Individual countries decide to put up the price of oil and rice. At home, you decide if you want to drink or smoke or be an employee. You decide if The Success Inside You indeed stays inside.
How different would life be if parents took out the words “you can’t” from their vocabulary? What if we never heard those words as children and only heard “you can”? What if we all thought that being a successful entrepreneur was a really good idea instead of being an employee? What if we decided loving each other was the answer instead of blowing each other up? How different would the world be? And more personally how different would the world be if The Success Inside You was allowed to come out?
The Success Inside You is defined in the following way: Achieving what you said you would do, without infringing on the rights of other people. You can have all that you want. It is possible and it is possible to get it without hurting other people. Success is a natural God given state and is our absolute birth-right in life.
We each have a talent, some of us know what it is and others are still searching, but if we do not use our talent we are being selfish as surely our talent will help the world around us in some way. You owe it to the world to let The Success Inside You leap out from within you to start making the world a more wonderful place for us all to live in.
The world is waiting. Your friends are waiting. Your family is waiting. You are waiting…all waiting for one simple thing to happen. Waiting for you to let out…The Success Inside You.
